Uch-Kurgan vs. Uch-Korgon

edit

On 17 February 2013, Abune moved the article from Uch-Kurgan to Uch-Korgon. My understanding, and I am no expert, is that the Uch-Kurgan was closer to the local pronounciation. Anyone know? --Bejnar (talk) 04:12, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

In Turkic languages Korgon translated as a castle (not to be confused with Kurgan translated as mound). See also map Swedish: UchkorgonUser:Abune (talk) 04:20, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
