Youth career
editDid he really start his youth professional career at the age of 3???--95.246.175.160 (talk) 19:42, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
German pronounciation
editThe German pronounciation is kinda silly: His name isn't German and is only pronounced that way if the person who does it isn't aware of the correct pronounciation. Nowadays most reporters have realised that the last g in his surname is actually silent. My point is: The German pronounciation should be dropped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JonStryker (talk • contribs) 11:27, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- He's Turkish German, so I think we need to have a German pronunciation of his name. Peter238 (talk) 12:53, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- The German spelling is really not needed. His name is correctly spelled in the Turkish way and by now most tv commenters are pronouncing it without the hard g. The German site also only lists the Turkish spelling. JonStryker (talk) 14:53, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
- I wasn't talking about the spelling, but the IPA transcription. Peter238 (talk) 16:59, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Height
editthe height has just been changed from 1.80 to 1.75. But but both heights are sourced so the question which one is more likely to be right bvb.de or soccerbase? Agathoclea (talk) 14:24, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
- His club (Dortmund) says 1.80 m,
- the German Football Association says 1.81 m,
- UEFA 1.80 m,
- ESPN FC: 1.80 m,
- and kicker 1.80 m.
- Therefore I think that Soccerbase is wrong. --Jaellee (talk) 16:27, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
Mr. Whippy
editThere is no source in any search that I've done that confirms he ever sold ice cream during the pandemic. The mr whippy nickname actually originated in a Manchester City fan's alternate commentary on twitter (https://twitter.com/citehchants/status/1351204315948609537?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1351204315948609537%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=) — Preceding unsigned comment added by LiveFreeWillyOrDie (talk • contribs) 16:54, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
Captaincy
editWhy did someone remove the part about Gundogan's captaincy? It is common knowledge that Gundogan succeeded Fernandinho as club captain for city. 180.129.93.24 (talk) 10:12, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Removed content by one user known for these deeds!
edit@Mattythewhite: Did you independently determine the content that should not be written? Who granted you the authority to erase my content initially? Your decision to delete sourced content aligns with your known history of editing, resembling the actions of unproductive politicians. Rather than contributing, you tend to interfere and modify what others have added, similar to many users. Retrieving my content seems futile, given your apparent obsession with enforcing your lies about notability. It's striking how a simple sentence faces scrutiny while extensive pages on Messi and Ronaldo, laden with excessive trivial details, remain untouched. This platform should not let users like you with negative impact to remain, only resist and obstruct! 2A02:908:456:CC40:FCE3:C8FC:D6CE:F547 (talk) 20:41, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
