Kaiten Memorial Museum, in Japan

• ALT1 ... that the Kaiten Special Attack Unit is commemorated at Kaiten Memorial Museum (pictured) on "Kaiten Island"?
• ALT2 ... that the Yamato departed on her final mission from just off the coast of "Kaiten Island", named after the Kaiten Special Attack Unit commemorated at Kaiten Memorial Museum (pictured)?

• This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline and either hook could be used, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. The images are appropriately licensed. A QPQ has been done. Request is for August 15, which is today. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:35, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

• Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't understand all the repetition in the hooks, nor why Kaiten Island is in quotes. It seems to me you could write a sharper hook here without giving so much detail. Yoninah (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Reiteration may help reinforce the perhaps initially unfamiliar term; re the quotes, this isn't the official conservative atlas-style name, bit like Rabbit Island (Ōkunoshima) and Cat Island (Aoshima), but I'm not too hung about them, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 19:02, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

I agree with Yoninah. I'm not sure why the repetition is needed and I don't think that readers need such a thing to understand a topic when the wikilinks are available. SL93 (talk) 19:41, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Thanks, ALT3 then if otherwise this one will be ditched but, per exergasia, the kaiten are the central idea, approached three ways, it's not like we're inundated with similarly florid stylistics, and me strong preference is ALT1, or ALT2, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 13:12, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
