Fair use rationale for Image:Im Stranded.jpg

edit

Image:Im Stranded.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:52, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:(I'm) Stranded/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start class:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  N A lead section giving an overview of the album
    • A single sentence is not a lead section. Does not clearly establish the importance of this album to a casual reader.
  •  Y A track listing
  •  N Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C-class:

  •  N All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  N At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  N A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  N A full list of personnel, including technical personnel
  •  N Reliable independent in-line references supporting claims
  •  N A casual reader should learn something about the album

B-class:

  •  N All the C-class criteria
  •  N A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
    • Singles list?
  •  N A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources
  •  N No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
  •  N No obvious omissions, but also no obvious extraneous information – such as "trivia"
    • Requires: songwriters for bonus tracks, background on context of the album.
Evaluation based on WikiProject Albums assessment scale. Please update this list when the article meets any of the above criteria, changing the article's class assessment as appropriate. Last reviewed by – Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
