Dates and Chart Positions
edit"In the UK Wilson's "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher" would be a hit in both 1969 (#11) and 1987 (#3).[3] and in 1987 (#15).[4] The single's sales have been estimated as high as four million."
How did it chart twice in the same year at different positions? --Shadebug (talk) 13:18, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Songwriters
editPresumably, cowriter Carl Smith of Chess Records is not the same person as country singer Carl Smith (musician). Acwilson9 (talk) 17:51, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
References in Pop Culture Belong in This Article
editIt looks like a very important and productive section of this article was removed around edit The Devil's Work ~ see Other Versions. This song is referenced in so many ways throughout musical culture and has a deep history of influencing female vocalization. I say we add those lost references back in! People may search for these terms after experiencing them in other works, and in my mind, it is a valuable service to include them here. Thoughts? Pauljbenedict (talk) 22:39, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
