The article claimed

"Because theoretical scientists seek to understand the mechanism of light emission this second example [1,1,3,3-tetamethyl 1,3-dioxetane] rapidly became the most studied symmetrical compound ever."

This seems rather dubious. CO2, CH4 and many more are symmetrical too, and surely have been studied more extensively than the above. Perhaps something else was meant? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 05:01, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
