Suspicious claim

The article claimed

"Because theoretical scientists seek to understand the mechanism of light emission this second example [1,1,3,3-tetamethyl 1,3-dioxetane] rapidly became the most studied symmetrical compound ever."

This seems rather dubious. CO₂, CH₄ and many more are symmetrical too, and surely have been studied more extensively than the above. Perhaps something else was meant? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 05:01, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
