Building Article
editHi,
I'm still in the process of building this article. 1031 Canal is the largest structure being planned for new construction in downtown New Orleans. It is particularly relevant due to the controversy surronding the height variances required for its construction. Following months of debate these variances were recently approved with provisions by the New Orleans city council in a 5-2 vote.

- Revisiting this comment over a decade later, I wonder if this can be seen as evidence of the widespread systemic corruption around the case. The investigation was mired in evidence of corruption including wistleblower/witness intimidation and the suppression of evidence. I wouldn't be surprised if interfering with Wikipedia articles as they were written would have been on the itinerary. George Mucus (talk) 05:45, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
