Skoda houfnice vz 14

edit

The data on the Skoda houfnice vz 14 page should be integrated with this page.Hotspur23 (talk)

I've tagged both pages with the merger proposal, we don't ned two articles for the same basic gun. --Denniss (talk) 23:51, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Agreed, but which name should be kept, the original Skoda one?Tengu99 (talk) 15:02, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
This one under its original name. All other guns are different names, variants or developments of it--Denniss (talk) 17:16, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good to me.Tengu99 (talk) 16:34, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gebr. Boehler & C. A.G., Kapfemberg, Wien?

edit

Regio Esercito (http://www.regioesercito.it/armi/100-17_914.htm) states that the 100/17 was made by Gebr. Boehler & C. A.G., Kapfemberg, Wien. The Skoda houfnice article had an unreferenced mention of a competing model of gun made by Boehler. Did Boehler & CAG also produce these guns along with Skoda? From german wiki: Skoda and Böhler had competing designs. Böhler was declared the winner but it had problems getting the gun into production. The beginning war demanded immediate deliveries so the Skoda design was chosen instead. Its possible Böhler did participate in the gun production itself or delivered components to Skoda. --Denniss (talk) 02:15, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
