Washington Mutual Tower is no longer know by this name. It changed its name to 1201 Third Avenue. Stone masons removed the chisled Washington Mutual Name from the large marble slabs on the front and sides of the building in June, 2009. The name was changed by Wright Runstad ostensibly to distance the building's many prestigious clients from the disgraced Washington Mutual Bank name after it went through the Fourth lergest bankruptcy of all time. The bank's CEO was Kerry Killinger prior to bankruptcy.
I put the building's new name (actually the building's address) in the article. Then I tried to move the page, but the action was blocked. Maybe an administrator would like to move the page. Jim856796 (talk) 22:38, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
