I agree with you, but I think Quebec has a stronger case for this than The Mollusk. Quebec is entirely 60s/70s psychedelic rock, while The Mollusk has at least one punk song ("I'll Be Your Johnny on the Spot") and one song inspired by traditional Irish folk music ("The Blarney Stone").
