I know nothing of the subject, don't have access to the original sources, and don't speak anything other than English, so unfortunately I can't do much for the article. I've done some general copyediting regardless, but much more work must still be done. One thing in particular that I hesitate to change due to not really understanding what's written and not having the sources is the first two paragraphs in the Combat operations section; they start extremely similarly, in a way that seems to me must be either a mistake or a sign that they should be merged to reduce redundancy, but I don't feel qualified to judge which is the case or to effect a change.
