This information is bad (or, at best, written poorly). The distinction within a fictional comic series has little to do with the "culture" of New York as New Yorkers live it. I'm removing this. Feel free, anyone, to re-add with modification to category or content. The information is potentially very relevant, but in this context it is misinformation.
