I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:22, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • While the recruits Although the recruits,...
    • Done
  • December 2, 1862 Don't use years unless they change as they get repetitious
    • Done. I think I caught all of them in the article, there were many in the organization section
  • Sometimes you set off the year with a trailing comma and sometimes you don't. I use DMY format in my articles, so I'm not clear on what the actual rules are. I will tell you to be consistent, though.
    • I think I fixed all of these
  • Don't use the seasons, use rather mid-1863 so as not to confuse readers who live in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • The regiment was known as Jackman's Missouri Regiment at that time. Cockrell had returned to Missouri to continue recruiting cavalrymen, so Jackman was Jackman's Regiment's first Colonel. Combine these without using the dude's name so often as my proximity alerts are flashing.
    • Reduced to one sentence, one Cockrell, and one Jackman
  • Parsons' line was longer than Blunt's, and the Union troops were forced back. Perhaps just say that Parsons outflanked the Union troops?
    • Done
  • was cut off by other regiments of Parsons' brigade Combine with the next sentence along the lines of "was squeezed out by Parsons' advancing regiments and could not participate in the second charge"
    • Done
  • attacked from the southeast instead of the north, avoiding the defensive works Perhaps reorder the phrases, "Avoided the fortifications by attacking from the southeast". Also avoids the close proximity of "defensive"
    • Done
  • Don't forget to capitalize brigade and division where appropriate
    • Done
  • Parsons' division contained Proximity alert! His division contained
    • Done
  • The source link for the Jackman picture is broken, see if you can fix it.
    • Archived
  • Don't forget to add a map.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:08, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Sturmvogel 66: - I've got everything fixed you've found so far. Thanks for reviewing this, I imagine this one has to be a very similar read to the 10th Regiment page you just reviewed. Hog Farm (talk) 01:45, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Now that I think about it, the See also section is redundant to the navbox and should be deleted in all these articles.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 11:52, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
