editI believe that this article was originally produced under the assumption that 170-176 was a group of buildings on the north side of John Street between Front and South Streets in Manhattan, rather than a single building across the street. I've rewritten the article to reflect the building's actual location. More information about the building can be found on the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission's designation report for the South Street Seaport Historic District: http://www.nycnpc.org/db/bb_files/77SOUTH-ST-SEAPORT-HD.pdf
170-176 John Street is the current home of O'Neill's Seaport Restaurant. This page about the restaurant has pictures of the building: http://www.nycotb.com/newnycotb/Teletheaters/ONeillsSeaportRestaurant/tabid/101/Default.aspx Epicharmus (talk) 05:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Correction: 170 John Street is a residential building with a commercial space on the street level, located on the south side of Burling Slip (John Street) between South Street and Front Street. O'Neills Seaport Restaurant is no longer in the commercial space. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biondanyc (talk • contribs) 23:46, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
