Battle of Haydon?
editFor anyone who cares, and since I am the only one who has ever posted here my guess is that there aren't many, I deleted an undated reference to a so-called battle of Haydon where some supposed entity, Adil, defeated the Jews. I have searched and I have searched but I have found absolutely nothing else that validates any part of this incident. The Jews did not command any political entity in the nineteenth century, anywhere, so without some sort of explaination of some sort of revolt, the term battle is a peculiar one. Given the fact that the citation merely said 'the Jews were defeated' it makes no sense without further elaboration. What Jews? How did they become engaged in a battle? At any rate, I just wanted to explain why I deleted this entry, because I am fairly certain that it correlates to nothing genuine.
