In the background section there redundant information, in relation to the first source, and the chart with populations from various Spanish censuses. Additionally looking at the source there is not a combination of mixed and mestizo, where as there is on the article's chart. The issue with the chart though is how it notes total population, without including sizable populations present on the island at various times notably Filipinos. There is balance in tone, and content. There is noticeably a lack of firsthand perspectives of non-European sources included in the article itself. It is organized well enough to get the important points across, but it does come across as wordy and dense at points. The sources and information is up to date.
