Republicans
editWho is referred by that name? Braganza (talk) 20:45, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- According to this, they are also "Liberal Republicans"... Number 57 21:07, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- according to R&P & france-politique they might be ralliés? Droite républicaine had roughly 30 MPs and Boulangists+Monarchists had 75 MPs according to that source
- hard to tell if the Republicans=Liberal Republicans=Right Republicans if there is a 20 seat difference (566 to 581)
- this primary source has is even more confusing with 10mio votes in total? but it looks like Republicans could be ralliés maybe? Braganza (talk) 21:41, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, you may be right. It's such a mess...
- Re your last point, that source splits it into registered ('inscrits') 10,538,021 and voters ('votants') 7,507,565, which is broadly in line with the Nohlen book, but again, different... Number 57 22:01, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- if we find someone who has the time to count this map per hand, i would say we just take this map as source Braganza (talk) 22:22, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
