– The school was known as Trinity College instead of Duke University until 1924, and the athletic teams did not become the Blue Devils until The Chronicle started calling them that in the 1922–23 academic year. This is explained on this name history page on the team's website, and can be confirmed by browsing archived issues of The Chronicle from the 1920s. This name change is already used for our Duke football seasons articles; see Category:Duke Blue Devils football seasons (note: the 1922 football article is currently titled 1922 Trinity Blue and White football team; I have started a separate move discussion to change that article to Trinity Blue Devils). How to update the 1913-1914 independent standings box?

Hey. Does anyone know how to update the box to reflect ties? I'm trying to update Duke's record to show their correct record 11-9-1 instead of the current 12-9. 98.101.217.19 (talk) 02:56, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
