Shall review this. On first look, this probably needs minor work done...

General

• No dab or dead links.
• I see no problems with the licensing of images.
• Newspaper sources are italicised. Newspaper parameters need to be added to El Mundo Deportivo and la Repubblica therefore.

• Would be nice if the tables met MOS:DTT and included rowscopes and colscopes, for ease of WP:ACCESS.

Body

• What is included in the lead is fine, but be careful with repetition. Three consecutive sentences start with "The race was..."; I would suggest the one in the middle "The race was composed...", could be changed to "It was composed..." to balance this issue out.

• "Before the 1911 Giro d'Italia, the first two editions of the race had began in Milan", the source does not really verify that (either that or I'm blind). Be sure to find one that does.

• Careful with overlinking. Giovanni Rossignoli and Lucien Petit-Breton linked again under 'Race overview', Rome under 'Participants' and 'Race overview'. Surnames should be used thereafter if the full name is given earlier.
