editEvery team played each other twice.
Everyone played each other three times. The scorecard of the third Eng-Aus match contains the note that Wisden 1913 states "As no decision had been made prior to the tournament on how the winner would be decided, it was agreed that the final match would be played to a finish even if it takes a week." [1]
As an aside, this was the first 'timeless test' to be played in England. Tintin 07:19, 3 September 2005 (UTC)
