• Could you get a better source for the first sentence? Perhaps HURDAT's list of US hurricane landfalls? Instead of the entire database

• "A fifth storm was found in reanalysis in 2009." - considering it was a hurricane, perhaps say "One of the hurricanes" instead of "A fifth storm", which feels out of place in the lead

• "Observations from ships indicated that a tropical disturbance developed into a tropical depression developed offshore Cabo Gracias a Dios, Nicaragua, on June 12." - this will make it tighter

• TS 1 caused a flood disaster in El Salvador, killing at least 100 people. I was trying to find more about H4, but found this instead. I recommend doing a bit more searching on the event, [1922 El Salvador flood] should yield some results.

• For TS 5 - "The system left minimal impact in Cuba and the Gulf Coast of the United States." - what were these minimal impacts? Any measurable rainfall?

• Under "Depressions" - "A strong tropical wave formed between the Cape Verde Islands and Senegal on September 21. Moving generally westward, the depression was last noted between the islands of Fogo and Santiago on September 22." - you never mention when this TD formed
