Wrong picture caption
editNever ever does this picture show a start of proper Grand Prix cars. The cars in the photo have fenders, some of them even headlights, so I assume, it must have been a supporting race for sports or touring cars.--Uechtel (talk) 22:57, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
Based on the pictures in David Hodges' book "The French Grand Prix", looking at this picture it definitely looks like the same circuit. However, it is definitely not a picture of the 1923 French Grand Prix as all cars had riding mechanics (and none can be seen in the picture), so I think you might be right about it being a support race.
