For some reason, in Hurricane 3, it lists Euros, but that currency wasn't around until the 1990s. That should be fixed. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:24, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, the source for the damages lists losses in Euros. Note the sign. Obviously, the Euro currency did not appear until the 1990s, but it is important to remain consistent with the source. CVW (Talk) 01:18, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
So a newspaper article written in 1924 would use a currency that wouldn't exist for over 70 years? That's almost as bad as saying that taxes raised by Rome in 100AD were in excess of US$50 million. The newspaper is clearly talking about £ (GBP) not € (EUR)... Fixed in article.--CycloneAlley (talk) 18:52, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. I apologize; that was a severe mental lapse! It was difficult to discern the exact sign from the minute text. I'm familiar with the GBP symbol as well. CVW (Talk) 01:38, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

Mistake

edit

The article says "The season was average with 11 tropical storms, three of which strengthened into hurricanes", when below we describe 5 hurricanes. Somebody could confirm and fix it?--KRLS (talk) 08:58, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Too: "two of those three"--KRLS (talk) 08:59, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
