Key missing data

edit

We need to find out if this was the season opener for Waynesberg (so we can show their record coming in to the game) and also need to get the box score for Fordham's quarter-by-quater score results. We know that Waynesberg scored one touchdown in the first quarter, but we don't know what quartes Fordham scored in what amounts--although there is a source that they did score in every quarter.--Paul McDonald (talk) 21:25, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I found Waynesberg's yearly results in their media guide ([1]). Looks like they were 1-0 coming into the game, having beaten Potomac State in their 1939 opener. Jweiss11 (talk) 21:49, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

I propose that First Televised Football Game be merged into 1939 Waynesburg vs. Fordham football game. This is an obvious duplication of content. The proposed destination article fits the style as proposed by the College Football Project.--Paul McDonald (talk) 14:45, 14 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
