editAccording to formula racing "The first officially recognised Drivers' World Championship was held in 1947", though there's nothing about it in this page. Only "Luigi Villoresi proved to be the most successful driver, winning six Grands Prix". He was the champion? 91.154.189.74 (talk) 14:14, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
There was no World Drivers' Championship in 1947. That started in 1950, while the Formula One World Championship started in 1981. Hence, Villoresi being the most successful driver of the 1947 racing season, does not make him champion. Lustigson (talk) 14:22, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
