Credit for team nickname
Can someone first get the book that source and see if that is even in the book. Second will someone do your own research and see if you can find something on line from a reliable ( I know that is asking a lot ) source that states Haugsrud gave the name. The team in its media guide credits GM Rose with selecting the name. now it is possible Haugsrud gave him the name as a suggestion but can we actually find something from the 1960s that states that and not a second or hand me down story
regardless of the source HP Skoglund was one of the 3 owners of the AFL franchise (Winter and Boyer) and Ridder and Haugsrud were added for the NFL franchise
