What if?
edit11 years earlier, the Brooklyn Dodgers had the greatest What If season of all time and then lost the pennant on Bobby Thomson's historic home run. Now 11 years later, had the season ended one game earlier than game 162. It would've been the Dodgers not the San Francisco Giants that would qualify for baseball's biggest prize the 1962 World Series against the New York Yankees. This Dodger team had a star studded lineup the likes of which no Dodger team had seen since the 1955 team that won the 1955 World Series. Thankfully the same lineup would be back one year later to capture their third World Championship as the Dodgers.
