I removed all the notes that said that certain parties "Contested using kapal layar election symbol on the ballot papers" or "Contested using kepala lembu, cangkul, pen, rantai election symbol on the ballot papers" for the following reasons:
Why do we want to include the descriptions of the parties' ballot symbols at all? The parties are distinguishable by their different names without needing to explain that one has a certain ballot symbol and another a different ballot symbol.
If we did want to include the descriptions of the ballot symbols, why would we include them for two of the parties and not for any other parties?
If we did want to include only the descriptions of the ballot symbols of the top two parties, why would we identify those symbols only in Malay? This is the English Wikipedia.
If we did want to include only the descriptions of the ballot symbols of the top two parties, and not translate those descriptions into English, why would we need to repeat those descriptions multiple times in the article for every state? --Metropolitan90(talk)20:24, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
