Who wrote this? First off the 1970 NLCS between the Pirates and Reds were 3 nailbiters of which the first game was scoreless into the 10th. This story said The Pirates almost pulled off a big upset in 72. May I remind you that in 1972 The Pirates were the defending World Champs with a 96-69 record.
