Misunderstanding of a spanish source

edit

Hello,

I think there is a big misunterstanding behind the sentence "With the exception of the Communist Party of Spain, none of the parties that had supported the Second Republic or those descended from them were legalised until after the elections, and were therefore rendered ineligible to take part." (introduction). This is justified by a source in spanish (http://elpais.com/diario/1979/02/09/espana/287362804_850215.html) which refers to the ilegalization (?) of a new, minoritary party (ARDE) calling themselves "los republicanos" but not representing (by large) the whole of the political parties which were active during the 2d Spanish republic. Contrary to the introductory statement, several parties that were supporting the Second Republic did participate in those elections : PCE, but also PSOE, PNV and probably others that I don'k know. So, if anyone active on this wikipedia edition can correct this it would be great. Thanks !--Awkiku (talk) 10:44, 4 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
