These are World Championships why single out Great Britain
editI fail to see the encyclopedic value of mentioning all contestants, including B and C finalists, of any single country in a World Championship event? Why have a dedicated section just for Great Britain? There is a similar section in a few other of these articles, I plan to remove those as well. Should anyone wish to keep the information nonetheless, I suggest they dedicate a separate article "Great Britain in World Rowing Championships" or something like that, and move it there. - I disagree with that action. As far as I know, some pages hold info for other countries, too. Whilst it may make sense to do as you suggest for the British team as there is info for them across many pages, this might not be sensible for other teams. As such, I suggest you self-revert until there’s consensus for your actions, @MichielN. Schwede66 02:33, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- The only other country I have seen was a single mention for New Zealand on the 1974 World Rowing Championships (and yes, I have removed that too). Do you know of any other examples? But regardless, while my main issue with this is the singling out of one country among many competing nations, it is also about the very limited encyclopedic value. Do we list anyone who took part in the Olympic Marathon too? No, we list the medallists, the numbers, participating countries. Not who finished in 26th or 43rd place. - To answer your question: yes, we do.

- Just in case you didn't see my reply, @MichielN. You've got that wrong; we do publish those details. Schwede66 01:45, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Given that you've stopped responding, I shall revert your edits. Everyone should feel invited to continue this conversation, though. I'm not saying that I've got right, but what I'm saying is that this needs broader discussion to come to a consensus. Schwede66 05:00, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
