Numbers don't add up

edit

If there was 1,737,771 valid votes for a total of 1,783,611 votes, shouldn't there be 45,840 blank votes and not just 840? Meanwhile the total of voters is bigger than the registered voters. Either there's some mistake here, ir the officials back then released incorrect numbers, as it sometimes happen? Cordially.--Aréat (talk) 02:42, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

The numbers and percentages fits with a total of votes of 1738611 instead of 1783611, so I believe this was a typo, which I edited. Cordially.--Aréat (talk) 02:52, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Aréat: You're correct. I just double checked the Nohlen book and it was indeed a typo on my part. By the way, I have Nohlen's Africa and Asia (two volumes) books in pdf if you would like them? Cheers, Number 57 09:44, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. And I sure do. Any way you can share it? I imagine it's not open source yet, so that's why you don't directly include it in the pages, but having direct access to the data may prove useful. --Aréat (talk) 13:42, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Aréat: Send me an email via the Email this user function and I'll respond with the books as an attachment. Cheers, Number 57 14:18, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
