I'll review this one. MasterMatt12💬 ● 📝 21:06, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Infobox
edit- Add World Seniors Snooker to the organization.
- I dont think that would be appropriate, as World Seniors Snooker was only established in 2018. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 21:16, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
Tournament summary
edit- Change to just summary to maintain consistency with the 2020 World Seniors Championship.
Background
edit- Consider changing this to overview to maintain consistency with the 2020 World Seniors Championship.
Image
edit- Is there a possible image of the venue or the tournament that could be used?
- There are some pictures of Trentham Gardens available, but its not clear from sources exactly which building the tournament was in. I've added a picture of the top seed, Dennis Taylor. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 22:32, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
World Trickshot Championship
edit- Add a main template, World Snooker Trickshot Championship, to show the main article for it at the top of the section.
- Put this at the end of the article after Century Breaks because it was not official and occurred after the final.
- Both done. I also created an entry for "machine gun shot" at Glossary of cue sports terms and linked to that. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 22:23, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
Many thanks for taking on the review , MasterMatt12. Let me know if anything else is required. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 22:34, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
- Looks good, I'll go ahead and pass it. Well done! MasterMatt12💬 ● 📝 01:20, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

Improved to Good Article status by BennyOnTheLoose (talk). Nominated by Onegreatjoke (talk) at 22:25, 1 February 2023 (UTC). Note: As of October 2022, all changes made to promoted hooks will be logged by a bot. The log for this nomination can be found at Template talk:Did you know nominations/1991 World Seniors Championship, so please watch a successfully closed nomination until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- It may be worth mentioning that this is a snooker tournament as the hook makes no mention as to what sport the tournament is about. Since this is a snooker hook I'm pinging the resident expert Lee Vilenski for his input. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 08:40, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- User:BennyOnTheLoose is probably a better target as it's his article. Personally I don't find the hook to be all that interesting - things get brought back all the time. I don't think it needs to state the sport per se though. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:20, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- I failed to think of anything interesting enough for a DYK when I expanded this, and still don't have anything suitable. Wilson winning his first professional title aged 57 was the subject of a DYK for him on 10 June 2020. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 11:51, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- @BennyOnTheLoose: If that is the case are you okay with withdrawing this nomination? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:47, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: It's not my nomination so I can't withdraw it. If someone has an interesting hook and the nomination passes, I'll be happy. If not, then that's also fine by me. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 19:32, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

- Pinging nominator Onegreatjoke for their input. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 23:47, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- We could mention how the event was sanctioned by the WPBSA as a possible hook. Honestly, part of me feels like the original hook could work with maybe a little rewriting but if consensus says otherwise then I won't argue. Onegreatjoke (talk) 23:50, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Onegreatjoke: I took a look at the article again and I don't think an event being sanctioned by a sport's governing body is really all that hooky? Pinging Lee Vilenski and BennyOnTheLoose again for their thoughts. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 00:20, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

- Honestly I'm not seeing a path forward for this nomination anymore. None of the suggestions are broadly interesting and nothing in the article stands out. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 14:22, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
