I was looking at the nominees for Best Video that are listed on this page, and I noticed that they are all exactly the same as the 1997 nominees for the MTV Europe Viewer's Choice award at the 1997 VMAs: [1]. I was wondering, then, if there was a mix-up between the two categories in whatever sources this list of nominees was found. Also, I would question Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity" being nominated at the 1997 EMAs, as the song and video were released in mid-1996 and the video itself was up for the Select award that year (meaning that it probably was eligible for the 1996 EMAs).
Thus, I find this particular list of nominees questionable, though that is not to say that some of those videos could have been up for both awards (the VMA and the EMA). However, if there is a reliable source with these nominees, then that'd be enough for me. Andresg770 (talk) 18:10, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
