References?
editThe article had no sources in it whatsoever:
- The Emporis link was a dud
- The Archdaily link was a dud
- The Kuusanmaki article was about Nakheel Tower
- and the UAErush article stated "According to an unsourced report, Samsung Engineering and Construction has stopped providing pre-construction services for the 1-Dubai tower..."
"According to an unsourced report"? We cannot use this site to source information, it posts articles without even sourcing them!
As far as I can see, there are no references or sources or anything to verify that this building proposal ever even existed! Please provide a source or I'll nominate the article for deletion. --timsdad (talk) 07:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- Okay then, I didn't find that source. From this Emporis page it can be seen that 1 Dubai is a complex, 1 Dubai Tower 1 being the original subject of this article. I'll move this article to 1 Dubai so this will be for the complex. There should be no need for separate articles for each of the buildings. --timsdad (talk) 08:04, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Absolutely 1 Dubai tower is a complex of three towers, 1 Dubai tower 1, 1 Dubai tower 2, 1 Dubai tower 3.See here *[1]
actually these three towers are merged together by means of bridges to form a single tower. therefore we cannot move this article to 1 Duabi, as already this is s single skyscraper.hope you got my point.

- I understand that the towers are interconnected by bridges, however, Emporis classifies them as separate buildings and therefore is considered a complex. --timsdad (talk) 08:14, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Dubai One
editThis shouldn't be confused with the Dubai One Tower, which as of August 2015 was still "on track". I write this on May 1,2016 and it isn't clear that Dubai One construction has started, although it was scheduled to start by now. (Given the crash in Oil prices, the funding for Middle East megaprojects is problematical.)FWIWAbitslow (talk) 21:44, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
