Coverage question
@Zawed: @Nick-D: @Buckshot06:. G'day all, please forgive my ignorance, but should this article also cover the formation that existed during the First World War? Currently, on the New Zealand Division article (which is about a First World War divisional level formation), this article is linked (the implication I get from that article is that the New Zealand Infantry Brigade was redesignated the 1st Infantry Brigade -- is this right?). However, this article currently does not mention anything about the First World War and implies the 1st Brigade only came about from 1939 onwards. Should this article be expanded, or should the link on the New Zealand Division article be re-aimed? This issue is also replicated on the {{Anzac}} template. - I haven't seen anything about this unit claiming lineage from earlier units of the same name, but it would be a bit surprising if it didn't. Nick-D (talk) 07:33, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
- Just because I didn't think of WW I when I added the WW II data, doesn't mean this doesn't cover all the '1st Infantry Brigades' in the NZ Army since there was one. So yes the WW I material should be added here. Buckshot06 (talk) 09:55, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

- Thanks, I've added a little bit now, mainly using text and refs adapted from the New Zealand Division article. Please feel free to adjust anything I mucked up. Cheers, AustralianRupert (talk) 14:06, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
