15th Sustainment Brigade
edit15th Sustainment Brigade was the original Sustainment / QM unit for Fort Hood. Which CSM holds the Fort Hood campaign streamers for 1CD's logistics unit? (I have reason to believe it's 15th Sustainment Brigade: See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15th_Sustainment_Brigade for a statement that the CSM for the Fort Bliss sustainment brigade holds the campaign streamers). --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 21:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
The unit insignia shows the connection to 1st Cavalry Division. 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) apparently assigned 15th Sustainment Brigade to the Fort Bliss sustainment mission, just as 4th Sustainment Brigade was assigned to Fort Hood (and 1st CD apparently -- see 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)#LSOC-West). --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 22:25, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
407th Support Brigade (United States) is a United_States_Army_Sustainment_Command#Major_subordinate_units; it is controlled by 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary). I would think it should be called 407th AFSB to denote its importance in providing Army Pre-positioned Stock-1 --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 22:41, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
