Proposal to change symbol used to mark "reelected"
editThe current symbol used to mark "reelected", an "X", carries a negative connotation. It typically means "to cancel" or "to delete", neither of which is intended here.
I'd propose using another mark, such as ♦.
I'm putting this same proposal also under the Second Confederate Congress.
Proposal to cross-reference representatives who were in the Provisional, 1st, 2nd Confederate Congresses
editI'd like to propose cross-referencing between the Provisional, First, and Second Confederate Congresses. I think that it should be kept simple. One possibility is after the name to put a mark:
- [P] - When a member of the 1st or 2nd Confederate Congress was in the Provisional Confederate Congress.
- [1] - When a member of the Provisional or 2nd Confederate Congress was in the 1st Confederate Congress.
- [2] - When a member of the Provisional or 1st Confederate Congress was in the 2nd Confederate Congress.
I am also posting this suggestion under the Provisional and Second Confederate Congress pages.

Number of North Carolina members in House
editHow did they have 11 in the the first Congress but only 10 in the second and a total electoral vote of 12 (2 Senators 10 House) in the 1861 CSA pres election? 70.59.65.23 (talk) 15:54, 18 February 2019 (UTC) It may be that https://www.ncpedia.org/biography/venable-abraham-watkins Abraham Watkins Venable was not in the first congress. According to the link he lost election to Arrington 70.59.65.23 (talk) 16:05, 18 February 2019 (UTC) [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.59.65.23 (talk) 16:07, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
