editMoved the article from being about people, to being about molecule (why it is interesting, how it is used). Apologies for being unable to access the literature to place the needed (and widely available) reviews and book chapters on these molecules. This was a between meetings mobile edit. - Ordinary claims in articles about chemical compounds can be supported by a citation to a good peer-reviewed primary journal, and the ACS journal Macromolecules is usually considered the best in the field. Disputed claims, or claims likely to be disputed, need better evidence, but this is unusual. Even claims to having been the first to synthesize of a compound can be justified in that manner, and nomrally even by a patent. All that is necessary to do is to make clear the source of the reference, using some word like "reorted". I will acordingly remove all or almost all thecite needed claims after a day or two so other people can look at them. Even by the standards of MEDREF they would be excessive. If someone wishes to challenge the material, the first step is to actually read the source, which the above comment admits has not been done. DGG ( talk ) 17:33, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
