Significant Event
editI think the most significant event of the season was the fumble or no-fumble decision the referees made as Tom Brady was trying to make a pass late in the New England-Oakland playoff game. The no-fumble call allowed New England to continue the drive and eventually tie the game and lead to a more detailed explanation of the rules regarding a quarterback's arm motion in regard to fumble calls. I think this event should be incorporated in the article, but I wait for the opinion of those who have put it a lot more time and effort into making this article than I have. 2001 AFC East standings?
editLooks like the 2001 AFC East standings table is showing the Denver Broncos as finishing in first rather than the Patriots. Not sure why. Broncos are not in this division. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.71.125 (talk) 19:13, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure where you are seeing that. The AFC East standings table that I see ( at 2001_New_England_Patriots_season#Standings) shows the five teams in the AFC East at that time, Denver isn't one of them. Denver gets mentioned on this page only twice; once in the game against New England in the regular season, and once at the bottom of the page where it lists all the team seasons. Were you looking at a different page, perhaps? Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 19:29, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
