Merge Reasoning
editI decided to move 2005 Honshu Coast Quake to 2005 Miyagi earthquake insetead of the other way around mainly for consistency. While "Honshu Coast Quake" could refer to anywhere on the coast of Honshu (Sea of Japan side or Pacific Ocean side), "Miyagi" refers specifically to Miyagi Prefecture, as 2005 Fukuoka earthquake similarily refers to Fukuoka Prefecture. Not only that, the names will also be consistent (this being the second Japanese earthquake-related page), hopefully creating a standard for future articles. If you have a problem with it, please leave me a note on my talk page. -Nameneko 22:17, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
Old Images
editImages from 2005 Honshu Coast Quake have been tamporarily placed here due to the fact that they are relatively unnecessary to the article. If you would like to put them back in, please do so (that's why they're here!) but leave a note here saying why. -Nameneko 22:17, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
- These two images show where on Earth things are happening, and are therefore useful to people outside Japan and unfamiliar with the local geography. They may complement Image:2005 Miyagi Earthquake Tohoku Map.png. However, the top one needs to zoom in closer, but the second one zoomed in too close. Wish there were a happy medium ..... -- 199.71.174.100 00:44, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
