Information about Super Bowl

edit

There's a quote in this article:

"The Steelers would win the game in command 34-17 to advance to Super Bowl XL against the heavily favored Seahawks..."

In Super XL, the Steelers were favored by 4 points according to Wikipedia's own article about it.. I have made this fix. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1002:B102:67ED:45D1:57BF:5A6:650F (talk) 16:28, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

And in keeping with consistency of the above, I changed "4 straight upsets" to "3 straight upsets" innthe paragraph where it talks about how the team is heralded as lucky. However to keep the meaning of the paragraph, I mentioned that the team appeared to have been statistically outplayed in the Super Bowl.

I also took out the information in this article about the controversial officiating in the game. This is covered in the article about the game itself and has little place in this article. Or if one were to disagree, it was covered in far too much detail in the body of this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1002:B102:67ED:45D1:57BF:5A6:650F (talk) 16:31, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Post Season Schedule

edit

I added a post season schedule to the article when I revised the Regular Season Schedule. The Post Season schedule has since been deleted (by User:72.87.126.42), I think that it is appropriate to have a post-season schedule, but if there is a legitimate reason as to why it should'nt be included I would like to know. I still have the post season saved and can quickly re-insert it if needed. Thanks! Blackngold29 (talk) 02:29, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Faulty Image

edit

I don't really know much about "Fair Use" and those kind of things regarding images, so I don't add them, but the Steelers did not have that alternate uniform in 2005 - it was introduced in '07, as a 75th Anniversary throwback, which they decided to keep after it was a hit with fans.--Ten-pint (talk) 22:01, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
