Playoffs

edit

As the playoffs are the high-point of the season, should we move the playoff chart above the regular-season chart? I recognize it's not chronological but the playoffs are what make the seasons memorable. Canuckle 23:34, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Game Winning Goals

edit

Anyone else think we should add Game Winning Goals to the Game Logs? Personally I think they are more important than which goalie had the decision. Thricecube 23:14, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't. I think game-winning goals is the most worthless statistic in hockey. Overtime GWG, fine. But when a guy scores a goal in the second period to make the game 4–1, and his team ends up winning 7–3, does it really matter that he scored the fourth goal? And does it really matter which goalie had the final decision? Thricecube 18:31, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I would say that matters a lot more than who scored "game-winning goal". Maybe not for the Canucks--Luongo plays like every game--but for teams that utilize multiple goaltenders a lot, it is important to see who was getting the wins and who was getting the losses. Vancouver Canucks season Template

edit

In the template, the 1995–96 Vancouver Canucks season wiki-links to the 1989–90 Vancouver Canucks season. GoodDay 22:05, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. This template was made based off of the {{Calgary Flames seasons}} template I created, and my original template had the same error. Bad cut'n'paste x2 on this case. Resolute 22:21, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
