Talk:2006 English football corruption investigation

Latest comment: 7 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

"No libel action was taken by any accused".

This is not actually true. Both Bond and Redknapp submitted libel cases against the BBC, but withdrew them before the trial date.

Could there be an argument that the libel proceedings were just for "show"?

"When questioned on the subject, the FA stated that their own investigation was still ongoing, and any charges will probably wait until the governments own investigation into football corruption has concluded."

What 'government' would that be?

The lead-in I think sufficiently covers the article and needs not be modified any more.DaltonCastle (talk) 04:43, 20 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
