I note that some users have tried to insert links or ads about their favorite candidates (or themselves). I'm a wikipedia newbie, but I'm pretty sure this is something you're not supposed to do. NDP Johnny01:12, 9 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. I have difficulties in seeing that this, and related pages such as Guelph municipal election, 2006, are encyclopaedic articles. Should this kind of material be on Wikipedia in the first place? // habj07:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
