Current event?

edit

Is this still a current event? Maybe someone should take it down. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.218.17.173 (talkcontribs) .

Hainstock is being arraigned and charged; there are still repercussions and actions happening now. I agree that the tag probably needs to come down sometime in the near future. His trial, etc. would likely go into another article. NickBurns 15:50, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Possible Prediction?

edit

Really, is the possible prediction and link to fan fiction necessary? Although somewhat interesting, it's hardly encyclopedic. It's more like random trivia and coincidence, and most likely linked by someone trying to promote their own work. I'm removing it. Jessikins 18:08, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Age?

edit
  • There's no details of the shooter in the article short of his name, that he was accused of being gay, and that he shot his principal. Can we get some more details? I have no idea what a freshman is, can someone extrapolate or make this an international article rather than an American only as far as comprehension goes? Jachin 05:17, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • Absolutely. And, just for the future, in the U.S...."freshman" is colloquial for a first-year student at either high school or college, or anyone in his/her first term of something (e.g. freshman senator). Wikipedia does a much better job of explaining these slang words than me: freshman, sophomore, junior, and Senior.

WP:Death Assessment Commentary

edit

The article was rated Start-class, for lack of Supporting Materials, lack of Coverage, and problems with composition.

  • Coverage: The article does not state whether any of Hainstock's claims regarding the abuse and negligence he suffered from his father were ever substantiated.
  • There are several points where the topic changes from one sentence to the other in the middle of a paragraph.
  • For "Supporting Materials", the article could use a photo of Haimstock, the school, or just an infobox or map.

Good luck. Boneyard90 (talk) 18:38, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
