Final location
editDoes anyone know where the setanta shield final will be held?
- Not sure myself, but I would assume that it would be Wembley, since all the other League Cup and FA-run finals (FA Cup, FA Trophy etc) are there. Falastur2 18:33, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
I have heard that it might be some league side like Doncaster Rovers or MK Dons place according to some of the talk on BBC 606 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shrewsdan1982 (talk • contribs) 21:13, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well if anyone does here for certain the place, please do say so that one of us can add it to the article (or just add it yourself). I'll be on the look-out for information, but I've not got the best of sources. Falastur2 21:57, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- The article has since been updated to say that the final was played at Aldershot's ground? Is this correct? It would seem unusual for one team to be drawn at home in a one-legged final, unless the venue was determined well in advance like in the Champions League. --Jameboy (talk) 23:46, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- OK I've found out, kind of. "The final was played at Aldershot's Recreation Ground home after a toss of a coin. Strange. --Jameboy (talk) 23:49, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
