General
- A Short description could be added.
Infobox
- Is there a reason not to have a picture caption? My reading of WP:INFOBOXIMAGE is that is preferable to include one. The WikiProject Football MOS for matches doesn't seem to be explicit. I don't have experience with football articles, so if no caption is common practice, that's fine.
- Weather could be added here.
Route to the final
- "one places and one point ahead" - how about "one point and one place ahead" (as placing is determined by points). (There's a stray "s" at the moment.)
- "Bristol City faced Crystal Palace in their play-off semi-final" - suggest adding date (for first leg) for this and for Hull City v Watford.
- "to halve Watford's deficit but Barmby equalised before half time" - consider adding a word or two to show it was the deficit across the matches that was halved.
Match
- I can't see either of the cited sources verifying that the attendance was 86,703.
- "before Folan's shot was deflected before being cleared" - this is OK but consider a reword to remove one of the befores.
- Should the match rules require a citation?
- The table looks slightly odd on my laptop browser, as though the Bristol team names should be to the right a bit, more under the kit diagram, but that might be either my setup or just the way that the template is.
- No idea, there's no bespoke formatting. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 22:33, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
Post-match
- Why did Brown say it was "very fitting that Dean Windass got the winning goal"? Is it because Windass is from Hull?
- Don't know why someone said what they said!! You're probably right but that would be speculation. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 22:33, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- I should have taken a bit more time with that one … asking if there was a known reliable source to provide context. But he said what he said, says the source, so no issue here. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 23:28, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

- The Rambling Man thanks for all your work on this article and for making the amendments. There is one point under route to the final that hasn't been replied to, but that's not a required change, and I'm happy to pass the article for GA. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 23:28, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
