As of my knowledge, al-Qadea is on a constant offensive since 2003. --TheFEARgod (Ч) 17:41, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to say, Ok-Al Masri said there will be an offensive. Is this an actual offensive? Or the same as regular insurgency ongoing since 2003--TheFEARgod (Ч) 17:44, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think that if anything it fits in as a counterattack to the Iraqi/US operations and troop buildup in Ninawa which began late last year following the movement of AQI from Diyala to the north.Lawrencema (talk) 02:27, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
OK, how will we recognise the end of it? --TheFEARgod (Ч) 19:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think the bigger question is how do we know what attacks fit in with the offensive and what attacks are part of the "regular insurgency". For example, there are bombings in Baghdad - are these part of the fight between the ISF and JAM, or is it Al-Qaeda in Iraq? But to answer your question, I guess the period of time that al-Masri announced as the length of the offensive will determine when it ends.Lawrencema (talk) 02:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
