edit- "to determine the 2009 football champion of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)." I suggest adding "college" before "football" to help give a bit more context to readers who are unfamiliar with American sports.
- Added.
- "The ACC Championship Game matches the winners of the Coastal and Atlantic divisions of the Atlantic Coast Conference." I would avoid using "matches" here, as it may cause some confusion. Some might mistakenly group "ACC Championship Game" and "matches" together into one phrase, implying that the the game in question is comprised of multiple matches. Suggest replacing "matches" with "features".
- Agreed. Changed.
- "In the early 2000s, the league underwent an expansion to add three former Big East members" Which league?
- Changed to "conference".
- "Miami and Virginia Tech in 2004, and Boston College in 2005" Suggest expanding "Miami" to "University of Miami" to avoid ambiguity with Miami University.
- Changed.
- Much of the information in the opening Selection process section is historical. Suggest adding a section header such as history or some such.
- As the game gets closer, the history sections will be outweighed by the new information added in due course.
- "The score changed, but the outcome did not, as Virginia Tech won the rematch, 30–12" Awkward and unencyclopedic construction. Suggested rewrite: "Virginia Tech won the rematch, this time 30–12" or some such.
- Rewritten.
- "not to extend the Gator Bowl Association's contract to host the game for another year." It is unclear how the Gator Bowl Association is related to Jacksonville.
- Added "manage and host"
- "Each city requested and was granted a two-year contract, locking the ACC into the locations well in advance." This sentence seems somewhat redundant. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 17:19, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Deleted the second clause. JKBrooks85 (talk) 09:54, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

I should have my review up sometime on Sunday. Nikki♥311 05:23, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- "From the start of the game, the 2009 ACC championship was an offensive showcase." - Per WP:PEA, this should be taken out. Don't use peacock terms like "showcase"...just report the facts.
- Some of the teams are overlinked. For example, Virginia Tech in linked approximately three times in the body of the article.
- "The Duke victory raised Georgia Tech to 10 wins, the school's first time at that mark since 1990, and the Yellow Jackets were ranked No. 7, their highest position in the national polls since that year." - needs a ref
- Make sure coaches and players are wikilinked.
- In the Clemson section, there are schools that need to be wikilinked.
- Per WP:JARGON, football terms should be wikilinked so those unfamiliar with the game will be able to figure out what the terms mean. Examples: conversion, first down, sack, etc
Overall this article doesn't need much work. Great job. I'll give seven days for improvements. Nikki♥311 19:42, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
